Sensory-Friendly Performance

We are hosting a Sensory-Friendly performance of Seussical on Wednesday, July 28th at 6 pm. We have invited special needs groups from the area to attend and there is no charge.

This performance will be a little different than other theatre performances.

  • First, we will be using this performance as a pseudo-pickup rehearsal. This means that it will be less stressful and more relaxed for everyone.

  • Secondly, the house lights will stay up. Major/loud/sudden light and sound cues will be minimalized.

  • Thirdly, the audience will be free to move around, dance, and make noise. This will be something that the cast should be prepared for.

  • Fourthly, the preshow will be different. The screen will be down, playing a slide show, and Cat in the Hat will do an introduction.

If you have family or friends who would like to attend this performance, please let Grace know and she will get you the code for free tickets.
